Patients are asked to make an appointment with one of our trained Family Planning Nurses at their convenience. Please note the oral contraceptive pill is not available on a repeat prescription and patients should ensure they make their next appointment before running out of pills.
Preconception Advice
We would encourage our patients thinking of starting a family to discuss this with the Doctor or Practice Nurse who are able to give specific advice about planning a pregnancy, including the use of folic acid (folate tablets).
Health Promotion Clinics
The Practice Nurses manage a number of health promotion issues. Appointments may be made at your convenience. These include:
Asthma/COPD
Diabetes
Hay fever from May
Flu from September (dependent on vaccine delivery)
Coronary heart disease
Smoking cessation
Minor Surgery
Small bumps and lumps can be removed in the Surgery under local anaesthetic. In addition we operate a Cryotherapy clinic.
